POSITION: LAUNDRY SUPERVIKSOR
Bomah Hotels Limited, a leading 4-Star Hotel, is seeking to recruit a Laundry Supervisor Attendant to join our team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution of linen and garments.
2. Ensure all hotel linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry are handled properly and delivered on time.
3. Monitor the quality of laundry services and ensure that items are cleaned, pressed, and finished to the required standards.
4. Prepare staff duty rosters, allocate tasks, and ensure adequate staffing for daily operations.
5. Train, guide, and supervise laundry attendants to maintain high standards of performance, discipline, and teamwork.
6. Monitor the use of detergents, chemicals, water, electricity, and other laundry supplies to minimize wastage.
7. Ensure laundry machines and equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
8. Maintain accurate records of laundry received, processed, issued, damaged, lost, and outstanding.
9. Enforce proper hygiene, occupational safety, and infection-prevention practices within the laundry area.
10. Report machine breakdowns, linen shortages, damages, and other operational challenges to Management.
11. Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen delivery and smooth hotel operations.
12. Ensure proper handling of guest laundry and prompt resolution of complaints.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A diploma or certificate in Laundry Operations, Housekeeping, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in laundry operations, preferably in a hotel or other hospitality establishment.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team is strongly preferred.
• Good knowledge of commercial laundry equipment, washing procedures, fabric care, stain removal, and chemical handling.
• Ability to identify different fabric types and select appropriate washing and finishing methods.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, control stock, and minimize operational costs.
• Demonstrated integrity, discipline, accountability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
