Requirements
3-5 years of experience in legal, compliance, or risk functions, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LDC).
- Membership with the Uganda Law Society and a valid practicing certificate.
- Training or certification in compliance, AML/CFT, or risk Qualifications
- Experience management is an added advantage.
- Responsible to ensure SurePay’s compliance with Ugandan laws, Bank of Uganda regulations, and internal policies while identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks to promote ethical and accountable business operations.
