Reports To: Immediate Supervisor
Key Duties and Responsibilities
i. Conducting patrols/operations to protect wildlife resources in and around the Protected Areas.
ii. Detecting and proactively preventing wildlife crime.
iii. Arresting, searching and supporting prosecution of suspects involved in illegal wildlife activities.
iv. Providing security to wildlife resources, property, staff and visitors within the Protected Areas.
v. Collecting and recording field data for management decision making.
vi. Supporting problem animal control.
vii. Supporting the rescue, capture and translocation of wildlife.
viii. Operating radios and disseminating information to relevant personnel.
ix. Gathering and relaying intelligence to relevant personnel.
x. Monitoring protected area boundaries to deter encroachment.
xi. Undertaking wildlife inventories and surveys.
xii. Preparing and submitting operational reports.

Uganda Certificate of Education with a pass in English language.
