Brief description:
Overall purpose of the job
To support the effective teaching and learning of chemistry at Kakira Secondary School by preparing, maintaining and managing laboratory facilities, equipment and chemicals while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised laboratory environment in compliance with established health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities.
- Prepare chemicals, reagents, apparatus and materials required for chemistry practical lessons and examinations
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of chemistry laboratory, preparation room, and chemical store
- Receive, label, store and issue chemicals and laboratory materials in accordance with safety regulations
