Role Overview
Deluxe Digital Advertising is expanding its Kampala footprint! We are looking for two (2) high-energy, “door-to-door” Field Sales Representatives who thrive on the excitement of the hunt. Your goal is simple: walk into businesses, identify their branding and printing needs, and close deals.
This is a role for a hustler, someone who prefers being on the streets of Kampala making money rather than sitting in an office.
Compensation & Rewards
- Monthly Retainer: A steady base salary to keep you moving.
- High Commission: Uncapped commission structure. The more “Bulky Sales” you bring, the more you earn.
- Field Facilitation: Daily transport and airtime/data allowance provided to support your movements.
- Performance Bonuses: Additional rewards for hitting weekly and monthly “stretch” targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Door-to-Door Prospecting: Conduct daily “cold calls” by visiting businesses, retail shops, and offices in assigned territories to pitch Deluxe’s services.
- Bulky Sales Generation: Focus on securing orders for mass branding, signage, promotional materials, and large-format printing.
- Daily & Weekly Targets: Maintain a high level of activity to meet and exceed strict daily sales quotas.
- Reporting: Provide daily updates to the Sales & Distribution Manager regarding leads generated and deals closed.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Deluxe Digital Advertising with energy and professionalism at every door you knock on.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Business, Marketing, or any related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in field sales or door-to-door marketing is a major plus.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Luganda. You must be able to convince a stranger to become a client within minutes.
- Energy Levels: This is a physically demanding role. You must be vibrant, energetic, and ready to walk the streets to find prospects.
- Resilience: The ability to handle rejection with a smile and keep moving to the next door.
