Role Summary

Manage, revitalize, and grow Scofield Associates’ digital presence across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Translate complex research and policy insights into compelling multimedia storytelling ahead of the landmark Reset Africa Summit in November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curate, schedule, and optimize daily content tailored to LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube audiences
  • Design striking graphics, infographics, data visualizations, and interactive carousels that simplify dense research findings
  • Monitor channels daily, engage with comments and DMs, and tag partners, clients, and regional stakeholders to grow the network
  • Capture high-quality photography and HD video during workshops, field assessments, report launches, and flagship events
  • Produce polished video clips, reels, shorts, and audiograms highlighting key takeaways from publications and expert panels
  • Format and design external-facing collateral — policy briefs, profiles, brochures, newsletters — in line with brand guidelines
  • Draft precise, grammatically flawless captions, blog posts, press releases, and short-form summaries of technical data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Graphic Design, International Relations, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years managing social media accounts and creating multimedia content for research, think tank, development, or agency environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro/Final Cut, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva Pro
  • Strong technical command of DSLR/mirrorless cameras, framing, lighting, and external audio equipment
  • Full mastery of Microsoft Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite
  • Strong interest in African geopolitics, international development, and Horn of Africa socio-economic dynamics
