Job purpose
To conduct elementary laboratory analyses
Key duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing laboratory reagents and stains for routine investigations.
- Carrying out basic laboratory tests and submits reports.
- Observing safety and quality assurance practices in laboratories. Cleaning the laboratory equipment regularly.
- Safely disposing off laboratory wastes.
Person specifications
a) Academic qualifications
- A Certificate in Medical Laboratory Techniques or its equivalent from a recognised Institution.
- Must be registered with UAHPC and holds a valid practicing license
b) Working experience: Nil
c) Required competencies
