About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage accounting activities and support accurate financial reporting, taxation and audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial and accounting records.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Prepare and submit relevant tax returns and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax requirements.
- Prepare information and schedules required for audits.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and audit documentation.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor income, expenses, payments and other financial transactions.
- Maintain proper financial documentation and records.
- Assist management with financial information and reports.
- Liaise with auditors and relevant authorities when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of taxation and tax compliance.
- Experience in audit preparation and preparation of audit reports.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good computer skills and experience with accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
