Job Description
POSITION: SALES OFFICERS
Locations: Various Locations in Uganda
Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution Management
- Achieving Monthly sales targets
- Maintain product visibility in the market place
- Handling customer complaints and grievances and provide solution in a time bound manner
Visiting the assigned territory on regular basis and meet all direct and indirect customers to generate sales - Maintain excellent relationship with customers
Debtors management of assigned territory including but not limited to –
- Ensuring collection of dues in a timely manner
- Making sure all customer accounts are maintained as per agreed terms
- Getting credit customers to sign Balance Confirmation letters from time to time
- Maintain updated customer KYC
Market Information Reports – Conducting marketing survey / research:
- Collect information on competitor’s prices, market share and sales trend
- Determine Market Share of own brand as well as competition brands using methods as directed
Market Price study
- Preparing daily/weekly/ monthly route plan Prepare and file for records, daily/weekly/ monthly marketing report from the allocated working zone.
- Implementing marketing activities, campaigns as directed by Management in their respective territory
- Do any other duties assigned by the management.
- Use company provided Mobile App or Computer Application for reporting and field work
Reports to: Sales Manager
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Additional qualification in sales & marketing will be an added advantage
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years of experience in FMCG, particularly in beverages Industry as a sales representative / sales officer
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Selling Skills, Customer Service Skills
- Time Management & Planning & Organizing skills
- Communication Skills (verbal & written) both in Swahili and English
- Ability to operate and report using computer and mobile app
