Centenary Bank is hiring a Information Security Assurance Analyst to provide best in-class cyber security assurance support in line with business needs by offering specialized technical sect knowledge to ensure that both new and existing ICT systems, services, and products comply with security regulations
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in cyber deviations from acceptable configurations, policy, or standards, and provide expertise in compliance requirements for internal and external reviews of requirements.
- Take part In Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests, and provide recommendations for system, network, and application design, implementation, and operation to systems to identify deviations from acceptable configurations or policies
- Support the collection and feedback on policies and procedures, helping to suggest improvements based on identified gaps.
- Help identify risks to Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information systems, assisting in suggesting mitigation
- strategies.
- Support the monitoring of corrective actions of system audits and provide periodic updates to the Line Manager on the status of
- implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the development of communications related to policies, procedures, and best practices for vulnerability and risk assessments.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Certifications in Information System Audit, Security Risk and Governance e.g Security +, Certified in Cyber Security (CC), CEH are required,
Required Skills and Competences
- At least two (2) years’ experience in Cyber Security Assurance, Information Security Assessments*.
- Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Security Compliance Reviews, or related Information Security Assurance functions within a large financial institution or reputable organisation
- Knowledge of cyber security frameworks, standards, and best practices
- Excellent analytical and critical dunking skills
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously’
- Proficient in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DIP, and vulnerability management tools.
