NOVA Microfinance Limited is seeking a results-oriented and experienced
Branch Manager to lead branch operations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive branch sales, collections, portfolio quality, and profitability.
- Manage and monitor the loan portfolio, PAR, and overdue accounts.
- Lead, supervise, coach, and evaluate branch staff.
- Ensure effective loan appraisal, disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
- Develop strategies for customer acquisition and business growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor branch performance, expenses, risks, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare timely performance reports and implement corrective action where necessary.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Microfinance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in microfinance, banking, SACCO, or a related financial services environment.
- Experience in credit, collections, portfolio management, sales, and team leadership.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High integrity, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of loan management systems and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
