Duties and Responsibilities
- Recruit and onboard new car logbook sales agents daily to meet hiring targets by the end of each month, conducting comprehensive training sessions on company policies & procedures, products, and sales techniques.
- Work closely with field team leads to ensure that all car logbook sales agents are well-trained and equipped with product knowledge, while supervising daily operations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor loan processing workflows to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete, facilitating communication between car logbook sales agents and support teams to effectively address client needs.
- Ensure timely repayments of all loans issued under the branch and aggressively follow up with first-defaulting clients and those in arrears to minimize losses while developing strategies to maintain high portfolio quality and achieve monthly targets.
- Set clear performance targets for the branch team, monitor progress towards achieving them, and conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions with team members.
- Prepare end-of-month, weekly, and daily reports on branch performance metrics, handling customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a high level of service.
- Escalate complex issues as necessary to maintain customer satisfaction while identifying areas for improvement in branch operations and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with Car financing Manager to develop business plans that align with overall company objectives, maintaining accurate records of all branch documentation, including client paperwork.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development among staff members, including car logbook sales agents.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities to easy market penetration to gain competitive edge in business.
- Ensure that all branch teams, including car logbook sales agents, are fully equipped with product knowledge and understand their roles in meeting customer expectations through refreshing training.
- Be present in the field daily to actively generate business and drive branch growth including direct agent supervision, monitoring and support, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company standards.
- Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by your line supervisor to support team and company goals.
- Directly supervise and support team leads and agents in the field, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company standards.
Experience ,Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Finance, or a related field (essential).
- Additional certifications in Sales, Credit Management, or Leadership are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales supervisory or team leadership role, preferably in financial services, microfinance, or car logbook loan sales.
- Proven track record of recruiting, training, and supervising field sales teams.
- Experience in loan processing workflows, credit analysis, and portfolio management is highly desirable.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of car logbook loans, sales cycles, and loan processing procedures.
- Sound knowledge of credit risk assessment, repayment follow-up, and portfolio quality management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and people management abilities, especially in handling a distributed field team.
- Ability to resolve conflicts, handle customer complaints, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
