YBIH Cement Uganda Limited, a subsidiary of Yaobai International Holding Limited and China West Cement Limited, is seeking to recruit three (3) experienced and skilled Chinese Cuisine Chefs to join our team in Uganda

Job Title : Chinese Cuisine Chefs (3)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent taste, presentation, portion control, and food quality.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Plan and organize daily meal preparation based on menus and operational requirements.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and use of food ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Work effectively with other kitchen and catering staff.
• Perform other duties related to food preparation and kitchen operations as assigned.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef, preferably in a commercial, hotel, restaurant, or institutional kitchen.

• Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and traditional dishes.
• Ability to prepare a variety of Chinese cuisines to a high standard.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet meal service schedules.
• Good teamwork, communication, discipline, and attention to detail.
• Candidates with relevant culinary training or certification will have an added advantage.
