About the role
You will own the day-to-day product operations in Uganda, acting as the on-ground coordinator for our Customer and Sales applications, as well as other IT Projects, and working closely with a Product Team based in Kenya and Europe.
Key responsibilities
Customer App
- Act as the primary contact between the product team and local stakeholders
- Coordinate feature rollouts in the Ugandan market
- Organize testing cycles and conduct customer interviews
- Translate local market needs into product requirements
- Track app metrics and report on performance
Sales App
- Own the Sales App in Uganda
- Coordinate rollouts with local sales teams
- Run structured testing with field agents and conduct feedback sessions
- Monitor field usage of the app
- Capture process requirements for the product backlog
Ad-hoc projects
- Lead market-relevant initiatives, such as integrations with local payment or ID verification providers
- Implement key IT projects in Uganda
- Manage scope, stakeholders, and timelines
- Document outcomes and hand over to operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum five years’ experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, Telecommunications, Fintech, or Digital Products
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to gather feedback and translate business needs into requirements
