Job Title: Engineer – Big Data Operations

Reports to: Manager – Information Management Operations

No. of Vacancies: 1

Main Job Functions:

Ensuring continuous operation and maintenance of IT Enterprise Applications to provide uninterrupted, high-quality service
Backing up and restoring data as per company policy.
Ensuring that all data stored in the Data Lake is complete and remains at rest.
Service data requests from internal and external stakeholders in line with the company data privacy policies.
Executing primary control checks of Data completeness and Data Quality in the Data Lake.
Supporting secondary and tertiary controls and tracking same with the relevant teams till closure.
Coordinate with Multiple teams and vendors to ensure all data streams are pushing-to or receiving data from the Data Lake as per the agreed frequencies.
Ensure the Business KPis are delivered on time within the SLAs.
Resolve incidents and Work Orders surrounding the Data Lake as per SLAs
Support Business Analysts on queries or changes on EVA.
Proactive monitoring of EVA and EMM to ensure High uptime.
Reprocessing via EMM and Repushing CDRs, EDRs, Logs, from Archive-server to the requesting downstreams

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
