GENERAL TRADE SALES MANAGER-Yokuku

Over all Purpose Of The Job

The Sales Manager – General Trade is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor networks, and ensuring strong market coverage across traditional retail channels (e.g., wholesalers, kiosks, small shops & informal traders). The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, building relationships, and executing trade strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and distribution targets
  • Manage and grow distributor and wholesaler networks, ensuring stock availability
  • Expand market coverage by onboarding new outlets and strengthening existing ones
  • Lead, coach, and monitor field sales teams to drive performance
  • Execute trade promotions and ensure strong in-store visibility and merchandising
  • Track sales performance, analyze market trends and report insights

Candidate’s Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in general trade/FMCG
  • Strong understanding of traditional retail channels
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent leadership and negotiation skills
  • Computer knowledge – Microsoft office suite
  • Valid driving license with not less than 3 years’ experience
