Head Strategic Business and Customer Relations- Norvik Hospital

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Develop and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with hospital growth objectives.
  • Position the hospital as a preferred healthcare destination for clinical excellence and patient experience.
  • Identify new service lines, centers of excellence, and market opportunities.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and patient behavior studies.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive OPD/IPD growth, diagnostics, surgical volumes, and specialty services.
  • Build and manage referral networks with Doctors, clinics, corporates, NGOs, and insurance companies.
  • Identify and execute strategic partnerships, MOUs, and tie-ups.
  • Develop medical tourism, international patient services, and corporate health programs (if applicable).

Physician Engagement & Internal Marketing

  • Collaborate with consultants and clinical teams to promote specialties and procedures.
  • Support Doctors in academic events, CMEs, conferences, and outreach programs.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between marketing, medical, and operations teams.

Digital Marketing & Brand Management

  • Oversee digital marketing strategies including:
    • Website & SEO
    • Social media platforms
    • Online reputation management
    • Lead generation campaigns
  • Manage hospital branding, creatives, brochures, and patient education materials.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.

Community Outreach & CSR Activities

  • Plan and execute:
    • Health camps
    • School & community awareness programs
    • Corporate wellness initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with community leaders, government bodies, and local organizations.
  • Promote preventive healthcare and public health initiatives.

Corporate, Insurance & TPA Relations

  • Develop and manage corporate empanelment and insurance partnerships.
  • Coordinate with TPAs for smooth onboarding and volume growth.
  • Support negotiations, pricing strategies, and service agreements.

Medical Tourism & International Patients

  • Develop end-to-end medical tourism strategies.
  • Coordinate with facilitators, embassies, travel agents, and overseas partners.
  • Enhance patient journey experience for international patients.

Budgeting, Analytics & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage marketing budgets with ROI tracking.
  • Analyze patient acquisition cost, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Present regular performance reports to leadership with actionable insights.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing and business development team.
  • Coordinate with advertising agencies, digital partners, printers, and media houses.
  • Ensure timely execution and quality delivery of marketing initiatives.

Compliance & Ethical Marketing

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (NABH/JCI), and ethical marketing guidelines.
  • Avoid misleading advertisements and ensure patient-centric communication.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • OPD/IPD and revenue growth
  • Specialty-wise patient volumes
  • Referral and corporate business growth
  • Digital leads and conversion rates
  • Brand visibility and patient engagement metrics
  • Marketing ROI and cost optimization

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Healthcare Management, or Business Administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Management, or related field

Experience

  • 5–12+ years of experience in hospital marketing and business development
  • Proven experience in multispecialty hospitals
  • Exposure to emerging markets or international healthcare is an advantage
