The Role
Reporting to the Director of Impact Enterprise, the Hospital Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management and operational performance of the hospital. The role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, client-centred healthcare services through effective leadership of clinical and non-clinical teams, sound financial management, regulatory compliance and continuous quality improvement. The Hospital Manager will drive operational excellence while ensuring sustainability, efficiency and achievement of the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications, Experience, skills and attitudes:
- Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration (MBA), Public Health or a related healthcare management field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ progressive senior management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting with at least four (4) years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in hospital operations, strategic planning, financial management, quality improvement and people management.
- Formal leadership and management training is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Uganda Ministry of Health regulations, healthcare quality standards, and hospital accreditation requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and hospital information systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare market including the competitive landscape, key healthcare providers, referral networks, insurers, regulators and other stakeholders influencing healthcare delivery.
