DUTY STATION       : Lifelink Hospital, Lifelink Medical Centre

DEPARTMENT         : Senior Management Team

POSITION                 : Human Resource Manager

REPORTS TO            : Medical Director

INTERFACES WITH : Senior Management Team and Heads of Departments

 

OVERALL, JOB PURPOSE

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for ALL matters relating to all categories of Employees of the Medical Group, including but not limited to employee recruitment, planning, retention, motivation, exit and HR related policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Human Resource Related Discipline
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management OR Master’s in Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years working Experience 3 of which MUST be in a Management Role.
  • Minimum of 35 years.

  • Policy formulation, documentation, and Regulatory Compliance
  • Information and Record Management
  • Employee motivation and welfare management
  • Employee performance management
  • Recruitment and Staffing
  • Implement HR strategies
  • Employee renumeration
  • Staff training and development
  • Support management by providing Human Resource advise and counsel.

EXPECTED REPORTS

  • Monthly Staff turnover report (new recruits, departures, transfers and their specific details – e.g., start dates, position, reasons for departure etc)
  • Staff Leave schedule and continuity plan.
  • Weekly Staff Sick offs summary
  • Monthly attendance Reports, average reporting time per employee (including specialists)
  • Quarterly Professional staff licencing status update.
  • Monthly CME, Meetings and Staff Training and development reports.
  • Weekly Human Resource Challenges and achievements
  • HR Budget
  • Updated HR Policies and Manual
  • Strategic Plan implementation progress report
