ICT Officer

Requirements
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain the institution’s computer systems, networks, servers, and other ICT infrastructure
• Install configure, update, and maintain computers, software, printers, and other ICT equipment
• Monitor and maintain internet connectivity, Local Area Networks (LAN), Wi-Fi and other communication systems
• Ensure regular backup, security, and protection of institutional data and information systems
• Manage user accounts, access rights, passwords, and system permissions
• Maintain and update institutional websites, online platforms, email systems, and other digital services
• Support the implementation and maintenance of management information systems and other institutional applications
• Train and guide staff and students in the effective and secure use of ICT facilities
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of ICT equipment, software, licences, and other technology resources
• Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data protection requirements, cybersecurity practices, and institutional procedures Prepare ICT reports, budgets, maintenance schedules, and recommendations for management

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related ICT field

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in ICT support systems administration, networking, or a related position
