UMC Victoria Hospital is hiring a Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory tests that support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will ensure quality laboratory services while adhering to professional and regulatory standards.
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Analyze, interpret, and accurately record laboratory results.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality assurance and biosafety standards.
• Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and equipment logs.
• Assist in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with clinicians to support patient care.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Valid professional registration and practicing license where applicable.
• Previous experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
