We are looking for a full-stack Laravel developer to join our team.

Reporting to: The Head of Software Development

Duty station: Kampala office

Responsibilities

1. Develop software code for projects at Streamline
2. Review and fix bugs in software developed
3. Test the code and ensure it passes the required tests
4. Deploy developed code on select deployment platforms
5. Prepare documentation for developed code
6. Be an active contributor to the Software development team

Requirements

1. 2-3 years of software development experience with Laravel PHP framework
2. Github portfolio of completed Laravel projects
3. BSc./ Diploma in software engineering
4. Experience with AI coding tools eg. Claude, Cursor, etc.
5. Extensive knowledge of MySQL and relational databases
6. Experience with Code Management tools eg. Git
7. Experience with Agile software development practices
8. Willing to learn and continuously develop
