Marine Expert / Naval Architect – 1 POSITION

SABA Engineering PLC is assembling a team of key experts for the BID Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies for the Development of New Ferries and Landing Sites and Rehabilitation of Existing Ferries and Landing Sites in Uganda.

What you’ll do

• Develop concept designs for new ferries.
• Undertake naval architecture calculations.
• Assess vessel-to-shore interfaces.
• Conduct lifecycle cost analysis.

What you need

• Master’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• At least 10 years’ experience in maritime structures and ferry operations and maintenance.
• Experience in jetty and landing infrastructure.
• Professional registration.
