Reports to: General Manager
Supervises: Marketing Reps, Customer Service Assistant

Job Purpose:

Lead the development and execution of the branding and marketing strategy in line with the overall company strategy.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Development of the brand and marketing Strategy
  2. Coordinate the product launch, evaluation and sustenance.
  3. Marketing champion within the organization & with external stakeholders to aid decision making to drive business results to enhance marketing capability within the organization.
  4. Manage the communications development process for the market.
  5. Effectively manage & motivate Agency partners to ensure best in class campaigns.
  6. Review & evaluate marketing activities in order to maximize ROI against agreed brand objectives and propose recommendations to bring about continuous improvement.
  7. Generate excellent consumer insights by maintaining an in-depth understanding of consumer attitudes in their categories and using these to inform the development & implementation of Brand strategy.
  8. Champions new product development initiatives through a clear understanding of current/future category opportunities, consumer motivations, internal capacities & the competitive context.
  9. Monitor marketing budget spending & propose corrective measures for profit protection if needed
    Conducting onsite visits in the market to identify new market opportunities.
  10. Take the lead in promotion of the brand beyond borders/Export market.
  11. Manage company’s online Assets i.e. website, Facebook page and twitter handle; Content generation, posting, Blogging, uploading videos and company news updates online.
  12. Take the lead in conducting market activations and battery clinics to build the brand image/ customer perception of the Brand Sales Forecasting and monthly performance analysis
  13. Develop & implement the Annual Marketing Plan and Oversee the execution of the plan by influencing internal stakeholders (e.g. digital, planning & promotions, consumer insights & customer marketing).
  14. Consistently review & evaluate marketing activities in order to maximize ROI to maximize profitability and minimize cost Performance evaluation, management and appraisal of staff
  15. Deliver customer value preposition in all advertisements and promotions to generate maximum customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, CIMA

Working Experience:
A minimum of 6 years working experience with at least 2 years managerial experience
