Description
Premier Distilleries Ltd is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our team based in Kawanda – Kampala, Uganda.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a mechanic in a vehicle garage.
- Diploma or Certificate in Automobile
Mechanics or related field. - Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles for mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance (oil change, filter replacement, fluid top-up, etc.).
- Perform engine repairs, brake servicing, clutch repairs, suspension and steering repairs, and other garage services.
- Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to identify and fix vehicle problems.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper operation after repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and keep accurate records of work done.
