Role Description

We are looking for a talented professional responsible for establishing operational best practices and being hands-on in executing operational processes. The Operations Manager will be reporting directly to the Country Manager and closely collaborating with the Regional Head of Operations to drive supply and demand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire driver lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, compliance, performance, retention, and engagement.
  • Implement data-driven supply strategies to ensure consistent driver availability and responsiveness to demand.
  • Oversee daily ride operations to maintain optimal service levels and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with local transport regulations and company standards.
  • Periodically undertake market intelligence and competition analysis and propose areas of improvement and adjustment to major parameters of the business including competitive pricing and campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, product, and customer support) to enhance app performance and resolve operational issues.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business goals to drive efficiency, profitability for the retail business, and service quality.
  • Analyze operational metrics and trip data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Provide analysis for client and driver campaign engagement, to reduce churn and improve loyalty
  • Roll out city-specific initiatives in coordination with marketing and partnerships teams.
  • Strengthen driver-partner relationships through engagement, feedback sessions, and prompt issue resolution.
  • Source and establish partnerships to ensure that the driver-partner and riders get extra benefits on using the platform and building a better relationship with stakeholders Rider and driver-partner engagements

Requirements

  • Degree in Business/Management Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations role in a fast-paced work environment
  • Data-Driven mindset and Analytical skills (high Excel proficiency)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience working in the sharing economy, tech business, the transport industry is a plus
  • Creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Previous experience in launching or managing a business is also an added advantage
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English is a must.
