UHI is an autonomous Government institution established to provide specialised cardiovascular services and to coordinate the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease in Uganda.

IMAGING AND DIAGNOSTICS
Post : Radiographer
Salary Scale : UHI 5 MED 2
Number of posts : One (1)
Reports to : Senior Radiographer
Job Purpose:
To provide safe, accurate, and timely diagnostic imaging services by performing radiographic examinations in accordance with established clinical protocols
Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Receive Patients and analyze their X-ray requests.
ii. Prepare X-ray equipment according to requests.
iii. Liaise with ward management in the preparation of Patients or X-rays.
iv. Take x-ray pictures, process X-ray films and prepare reports for the Doctor/ Clinical Officer.
v. Maintain X-ray equipment.
Person/ Job Specifications
i. Must have a Diploma in Medical Radiology from a recognized Institution.
ii. Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
