On behalf of our client Spiro, we are looking for a skilled and competent Recovery Officer to work on site.
Role Summary
The Data Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, reconciliation, validation, and analysis of operational data within the Collections, Repossession, and Asset Recovery functions. The role supports efficient client service delivery by maintaining reliable information across company systems including CRM, Portfolio Quality Module, and other operational platforms.
The Data Supervisor works collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely reporting, data quality assurance, operational visibility, and process improvement while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with company standards.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Data Management & Reporting
- Support the Head of Repossession & Asset Recovery in updating, reconciling, validating, and analyzing case statuses across company platforms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational records within CRM, Portfolio Quality Module, and other systems.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational data reports.
- Monitor data consistency and identify discrepancies for timely resolution.
- Data Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, credibility, and validity of information.
- Implement data validation routines and reconciliation procedures.
- Ensure all recovery and repossession records are properly captured and updated.
- Data Collection & Analysis
- Support the development and improvement of data collection tools and reporting templates.
- Collect and consolidate operational data from communication channels such as WhatsApp, Ticketing Systems, Excel sheets, and other platforms.
- Analyze operational trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Process Improvement
- Proactively recommend improved data handling and reporting processes.
- Support automation and standardization of operational reporting.
- Participate in strategic planning related to collections and recovery operations.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Collections, Recovery, Finance, Operations, and other departments to ensure accurate information flow.
- Provide support and guidance to team members on data management practices.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Business Administration
- Statistics
- Information Systems
- Data Science
- Economics
- Finance or any related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in:
- Data analysis
- Reporting
- Collections or recovery operations
- CRM and operational data management
Technical Skills;
- Microsoft Excel – Expert
- Microsoft Word – Expert
- Microsoft Outlook – Advanced
- Google Sheets – Advanced
- Google Docs – Advanced
- Google Chat – Advanced
- CRM Systems – Advanced
- Mifos & Portfolio Quality Module – Added advantage
- Data analysis and reporting tools – Advanced Competencies;
