Report a Job

Report a Job | HOME

JobLink is committed to helping job seekers access verified jobs in Uganda and protecting users from scams and misleading job adverts. If you come across a job listing that appears suspicious, misleading, or fraudulent, we encourage you to report it immediately.

Your report helps us keep JobLink safe, reliable, and trustworthy for everyone.

Why Reporting a Job Matters

Job scams continue to affect many job seekers in Uganda and abroad. By reporting suspicious job listings, you help protect other users from financial loss, identity theft, and false promises. Every report is taken seriously and reviewed by our team.

When Should You Report a Job?

You should report a job if you notice any of the following:

  • Requests for application, interview, or facilitation fees

  • Poorly written or unclear job details

  • Fake company names or unverifiable employers

  • Promises of guaranteed employment

  • Suspicious overseas job offers targeting Ugandans

  • Requests for personal or financial information early in the process

If something feels wrong, it is better to report it.

How to Report a Job

To report a job listing on JobLink, please send an email to:

support@jobslinking.com

Include as much of the following information as possible:

  • Job title

  • Employer or organization name (if provided)

  • Where you found the job (JobLink page, WhatsApp, email, etc.)

  • Description of what seems suspicious

  • Screenshots or documents, if available

Providing detailed information helps us investigate faster.

What Happens After You Report a Job?

Once we receive your report, our team will review the job listing. If the job is found to be misleading or fraudulent, it will be removed from the platform.

We may also warn other users, block repeat offenders, and update our scam-prevention measures.

Please note that while we may not always respond individually, every report is reviewed.

Protect Yourself While Job Hunting

JobLink will never ask you to pay to apply for a job. Legitimate employers in Uganda do not charge application fees.

Always verify job details, avoid sharing sensitive personal information, and apply only through trusted channels.

Jobs Abroad Warning

JobLink occasionally shares jobs abroad for Ugandans as an additional service. These opportunities require extra caution. Always verify recruitment agencies, contracts, and visa requirements independently.

JobLink is not responsible for overseas recruitment processes or outcomes.
