Request for Information: From CSOs/NGOs/CBOs for Provision of Enterprise Training and Business Support Services
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Uganda invites eligible national Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to submit information for potential partnership in delivering sustainable community enterprise development initiatives.
The objective of this engagement is to provide enterprise training, capacity building, and business advisory support to beneficiary groups receiving farm-based and agricultural livelihood assets, as well as strengthening local government oversight across South-Western and Eastern Uganda.
Scope of the Assignment
The selected CSO/NGO/CBO will be expected to undertake the following tasks:
- Enterprise selection and group formation.
- Training design and curriculum/content development, including pre- and post-livelihood asset distribution training.
- Capacity building for District Local Governments in the 24 project-implementing districts across the South-Western and Eastern regions:
- Eastern Region: Ngora, Kumi, Bukedea, Mbale, Budaka, Butaleja, Tororo, Kaliro, Namutumba, Butebo, Pallisa and Kibuku.
- South-Western Region: Kisoro, Rubanda, Kabale, Rukiga, Ntungamo, Mitooma, Rukungiri, Kanungu, Bushenyi, Sheema, Rubirizi and Buhweju.
- Monitoring and reporting on the activities outlined above.
Submission of Responses
Interested organizations must submit the following completed documents and all relevant annexes:
- Completed Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire,
- Completed Capacity Assessment Checklist (CACHE), together with all requested attachments, to tenders.kampala@undp.org by Close of Business (COB), Thursday, 1 October 2026.
