Jude Color Solutions, a leading name in branding materials, garments and promotional items, seeks a creative, skilled, and experienced Screen Printing Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in screen printing, good computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality branded products.
POSITION:SCREEN PRINTING OPERATOR
JOB STATION: PRIME COMPLEX, KAMPALA
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Prepare screens, artwork, inks, and printing materials for production.
- Set up and operate screen printing machines and equipment.
- Prepare and mix inks according to required colours and specifications.
- Align and register designs accurately on garments and other printing surfaces.
- Creating, designing and printing creative designs on products and other promotional materials.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Monitor ink, screens, squeegees, and other production materials and report shortages.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to achieve required specifications.
- Follow production schedules and complete assigned jobs within deadlines.
- Identify and report printing defects, machine problems, or quality issues.
- Perform any other duties related to screen printing as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Age: 26-35 years.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in screen printing (skill in graphics design is an added advantage).
- Certificate or Diploma/Degree in Screen Printing, Printing Technology, Graphics, or a related field.
- Good computer skills and ability to work with basic design/printing software.
- Good communication and teamwork skills (ability to read and write clearly).
- Strong creativity and an eye for colour, detail, and design.
- Good understanding of screen preparation, colour separation, registration, and printing processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan and meet production deadlines.
