Job Description
The tailor will be responsible for measuring, cutting and sewing the clothing to be used for making the laptop sleeves/ bags. He or she will be making services as part of organisations livelihood and skill development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailoring services as assigned
- Cut fabric according to the patterns and designs
- Maintain and properly use tailoring equipment and machines
- Keep the work area clean and organised
Requirements
- Proven experience in tailoring
- Skilled in both machine and hand sewing
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Good communication skills
- Skills in pattern making (desirable)
- Good eye sight, ability to sit for long hours on a machine
Education & Experience
- Certificate in tailoring, fashion and design or related field
- 1+ years of experience in tailoring experience
