| Job Purpose | Assist in formulating, reviewing and maintaining standard operating procedures for use in the workplace (Laboratories). |
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement guidelines and regulations to ensure safety in the workplace;
- Maintain equipment and facilities in a functional condition;
- Assist in the preparation of students’ practical, industrial training, internship and fieldwork;
- Participate in research and consultancy for best practices;
- Implement standard operating procedures in the workplace;
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment;
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- An Honours Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Technology or Biomedical Sciences
- Area of Specialization: Immunology OR Molecular Biology with strong foundation
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience working in Medical Immunology OR Molecular Biology Laboratories.
