About Organisation:
A newly established Pharmaceutical Company based in Mbarara, Uganda, specializing in the importation and distribution of Human and Veterinary products, is seeking to recruit qualified and high-integrity professionals for its Western Region operations.
The company is seeking to recruit Trustworthy Qualified, and Smart Human Medical Representatives to work in Western Region based in Mbarara town.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
- Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance
- Prepare Budget forecasts
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns
- Any other duties as may be assigned to you by your supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Applicants should be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Business Administration from a recognized Institution.
- Must have a professional qualification –CPA Level 2 or 3.
- 2-4 years working experience in busy work environment
- Experience with computerized ledger systems
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with SAP Business one
- Should be a resident of Mbarara city or other surrounding areas.
- MUST be fluent in Runyankole and other Western Uganda Languages will be added advantage.
