Position: Customs Declaration Officer
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Full-Time
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in using ASYCUDA system to track and manage customs declaration process
- Prepare and manage customs declarations and related documentation
- Skilled in preparing and managing worksheets for declarations and costing
- Ensure compliance with URA and customs regulations
- Liaise with clients, URA, and border agencies for smooth clearance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics or related field
- EAFFPC Certification (East African Certificate in Freight Forwarding and Customs Operations)
- 2-3 years experience in customs declarations
- Proficiency in ASYCUDA World and MS Excel worksheets
- High integrity, attention to detail, strong communication skills
