UMC Victoria Hospital is hiring a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of healthcare facilities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will ensure that buildings, equipment, and support services operate effectively to provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Manage maintenance of buildings, utilities, and medical support infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage facility budgets, procurement, and service contracts.
• Monitor security, cleaning, and waste management services.
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities  Management,  Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facilities or property management, preferably within healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and occupational safety.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
