Job Title: Front-end Developer
Reports to: Manager Design and Delivery
Role:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web and mobile application interfaces that meet business requirements while ensuring optimal performance, usability, and user experience.
Education and Professional Qualifications:
Academic:
Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology
Technical Skills (Desirable):
- Proficiency in frontend programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience working with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Svelte, Backbone.js, Ember.js, or jQuery.
- Working knowledge of Linux server configuration and management.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite, or MariaDB.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows.
Required Experience and Competences:
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the design, development, and delivery of enterprise software solutions.
- Experience working within a large financial institution or reputable organization is preferred.
- Practical experience with Linux server configuration, software deployment, and Bash scripting
