Background
The ACT-PREP Consortium, funded under the HORIZON-JU-GH-EDCTP3 programme, invites applications for PhD Fellowships in Clinical Trials and Epidemic Preparedness and Response Research. The programme aims to strengthen Africa’s capacity in clinical trials and epidemic preparedness by supporting doctoral research in priority research areas. This round is open to candidates who are already enrolled in a PhD programme at an ACT-PREP
Responsibilities
- Conduct doctoral research under one of the ACT-PREP priority research themes.
- Participate in core and specialised fellowship training.
- Maintain the highest standards of research quality and integrity.
- Complete the fellowship within the approved duration.
Qualifications and Desirable Qualities
- Be nationals of an ACT-PREP partner country.
- Hold a relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent).
- Be currently enrolled in a relevant PhD programme at an ACT-PREP partner university.
- Obtain institutional endorsement.
- Qualified female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
