JOB DESCRIPTION / POSITION PROFILE
JOB TITLE: Plumber
SALARY SCALE: MNSL 5
REPORTS TO: Technical Supervisor
SUPERVISES: Plumbing Assistant
Job Purpose
To carry out plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure efficient water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems at the stadium.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fixtures, toilets, sinks, and drainage
systems. - Responds to plumbing emergencies and carries out prompt repairs to minimize disruptions.
- Inspects plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend necessary corrective actions.
- Ensures proper functioning of water supply and sanitation facilities throughout the stadium.
- Maintains tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Prepares reports on work completed and materials used.
- Complies with health, safety, and building regulations related to plumbing.
- Assists in planning and implementing plumbing works during renovations and upgrades.
Person specifications
Academic Qualifications
- Diploma in Plumbing or Water Systems Maintenance from a recognized institution.
Working Experience
- Two (2) years relevant working experience at similar level in a reputable organization.
