About Funamu
Funamu is an emerging technology startup building a multi-vertical marketplace that connects customers, merchants, Delivery Partners, and Pickup and Drop-off (PUDO) Partners through a unified digital platform. We are preparing to launch our operations in Lira City and are seeking an organised and detail-oriented PUDO Partners Officer to manage PUDO Partner applications, coordinate PUDO point operations, and support the growth of our presence in Lira.

Key Responsibilities

• PUDO Partner Applications and Verification Review PUDO Partner applications, verify partner identity and information, and approve or reject applications within your authority. Maintain accurate records.
• PUDO Point Management: Manage PUDO point information, including locations and opening hours. Follow up on changes and ensure information is up to date.
• Parcel Holds and Handover Problems: Handle parcel-hold and handover issues at PUDO points, coordinate with relevant parties, and escalate unresolved cases.
• PUDO Partner Account Management: Follow up on partner information, address operational issues, and ensure accurate partner records.
• Records and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of applications, PUDO points, and operational issues. Report recurring issues to the City Manager.
• Coordination with the City Team: Work with Ward Managers, the Delivery Partner Officer, and the Merchant Partners Officer while following operational directions and company policies.

Compensation
Compensation will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on the role’s responsibilities, qualifications, and relevant experience.

The Opportunity
The PUDO Partners Officer is responsible for managing PUDO Partner applications, verifying partner information, setting up and maintaining PUDO point details, and coordinating parcel drop-off and collection operations within Lira. This role supports the growth of Funamu’s presence in Lira by ensuring PUDO Partners meet our requirements and that PUDO operations are managed in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an advantage. Experience in operations, partner onboarding, logistics coordination, customer service, or administration is desirable.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.
• Confidence using digital platforms and basic reporting tools.
• Ability to coordinate with different partners and operational teams.
• Strong English communication skills are required. Proficiency in Langi and familiarity with Lira City and its local community are added advantages.
