On behalf of our client Hearts of Joy, we are looking for skilled and experienced SECURITY GUARDS to join their team in Jinja, Uganda

Job Objective

To implement operational procedures for the security of Hearts of Joy International’s clients, staff, and visitors in order to ensure their safety at all times, while ensuring that any potential security threats are identified and managed appropriately and promptly.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Arrive on duty at 7:00 AM and sign in; report to your supervisor.
• Supervise the entry and departure of new guests.
• Supervise the signing of the guest book for new guests
• Guard the Hearts of Joy International premises.
• Patrol the premises every hour to ensure maximum security.
• Report any detected security breaches and/or threats to your supervisor
• Ensure all Hearts of Joy International supplies, materials, and/or equipment are safeguarded and protected.
• Direct new guests to designated areas and/or persons.
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time.

Duty Standards

• Security diary consistently and accurately updated.
• Premises and property kept safe and secure at all times.
• Effective supervision of security operations and personnel.
• Weekly reports submitted to the Line Manager.

Requirements

• National ID
• Ability to speak English & Luganda and any other language
