Job Title: SENIOR SOCIOLOGIST
Job purpose: To provide technical leadership in stakeholder engagement, social safeguards, social risk management, and community relations while ensuring compliance with social safeguard requirements and promoting social sustainability across projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Social Development, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Work and Social Administration, Rural Development, Community Development, or a related Social Sciences discipline.
- Master’s Degree in Sociology, Social Development, Anthropology, Development Studies, Social Work, or related discipline is desirable
- Professional certification in Social Safeguards, Resettlement, Stakeholder Engagement, Gender, or Project Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8-10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role
