Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking experienced Truck Drivers for a client in the transport and logistics sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation and proper management of assigned vehicles, timely and secure delivery of cargo, and accurate completion and management of all required documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect containers before loading and after offloading and report any damage immediately.
- Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and reflective jackets, at all times while on duty.
- Observe all traffic laws and company speed limits.
- Deliver assigned cargo safely to Mombasa Port and return to Uganda as required.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, licenses, and statutory requirements are valid and current.
- Conduct routine vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced and maintained according to schedule.
- Comply with all HSEQ and road-safety requirements.
- Drive defensively to prevent accidents, incidents, and cargo damage.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean and presentable at all times.
- Plan routes and manage travel time to ensure timely deliveries.
- Report accidents, incidents, vehicle defects, and other safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in any field.
- Valid driving permit with classes C1, C, CE, and DI is a must.
- Valid Port Pass is an added advantage.
- 2 years’ of experience driving to Mombasa Port.
- Proven ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely and confidently.
