Architect- Makerere University

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Review specifications of the proposed designs and protect equipment.
Manage all projects’ architectural and technical records.
Ensure th8t construction work complies with drawings, specifications, and codes.
Supervise contractors and subcontractors for technical accuracy and quality within time and cost.
Monitor safety compliance based on national regulations and project-specific safety plans.
Submit project reports to the Project Engineer.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Honors bachelor’s degree in architecture
Other requirements
Should have experience in the design and construction of educational facilities;
The applicant shall be computer literate and knowledgeable m the use of standard architectural software, e.g.. ArchiCAD. AutoCAD.
Experience in undertaking similar roles for similar infrastructure projects.
Experience
At least eight (8) years of experience as an Architect, 3 of which should be as a registered Architect with the Architect Registration Board (ARB).
