Brief description:
Overall purpose of the job
To carry out the Shift Instrument maintenance as per the Maintenance schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the loading, spinning, washing and discharging phases of batch-type centrifuges to
ensure maximum productivity. - Ensure all equipments in curing section up to sugar bagging is maintained properly, attend all
maintenance required for those equipments. - Supervise and allocate works for all your subordinates every day and ensure Curing section
machinery maintenance is done in time. - Perform or supervises mechanical maintenance to minimise downtime, such as checking basket
loads, drive technology and repairing components. - Ensure optimal separation of products, such as separating sugar crystals from mother liquor, to
improve efficiency and reduce water usage. - Monitors machine performance to meet food-grade or industrial standards, including managing
moisture and ash content in output. - Ensures the machine operates with safe parameters and adheres to safety standards.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned to you by your line manager.
